After a absolute glourious day sat i was alittle burnt from lazing about,so
full of aticipation for a good session on sunday. After a morning of force
three the wind started to blow with perfect med sunny weather.Al and i
hesitated going out untill 2.30 as the green water looked windier than
actually reading because of the unbroken sunshine on it.Rigged a 7.0 sail
and large board exspecting only just to get going, but as soon as i was on
water,i realized the board was the wrong choice as i was purfectly powered
up,as what can only be described as the best consistant force four i have
ever sailed in in my six year history of windsurfing in this country.Me and
Al going from the esturary right up to borth town and back, suffering back
ache making you turn round for a rest and another half hour blast back to
the esturary mouth.Blasting about over nice rolling swells Al almost
touching the front of my board for what seemed like half a mile.I should
have gone in to change down to my 104 litre board but could not bring
myself to leave these purfect blasting conditions as the swell was growing
and the kit feeling far to big now for the 18 knot wind, but it was only
manageable because of the total lack of gusts.Absolutly knackered at six
o'clock decided to pack up with the wind still going for it and the sun
still out.But the price of a perfect day is that my face is now looking
like a tomato.
